In the fall I looked at myself and realized I could not go on as I was. I was only getting bigger, none of my clothes fit and I was depressed. I didn’t want to start yet another diet program because I have failed so many times that I just figured what was the point. So, I thought I would try something different. I decided to just change what I was eating and lower my portions. I used to eat lots of fast food, chocolate, and a LOT of it. I changed and am eating more whole grain foods, and healthier options. I started around 230 and as of March 1, 2008 I was 198. I have been weighing in once a month and I am fine with that. It keeps me focused on getting healthy, not on the number on the scale. I have gone from a size 22 to a size 16, and I hope that by the end of the summer I am in a 14 comfortably.
Anyway, here is my menu for the day:
