As I am typing this, I’m eating a pear. woo hoo…haven’t touched the truffles. As I eat the pear, I realize that all canned fruits are just wrong, especially peaches and pears.
Last night I did the Jillian Michaels Frontside dvd. No question that it gave me a workout. At the end, I couldn’t lift my arms. Not, it hurt to much to lift them. I mean I physically had no strength left at all to lift my arms over my head. I
now understand what it means to work your muscles to exhaustion…lol.
Both dvds are set up with 6 circuits. Each circuit is made up of 3 sets of 3 to 4 moves, with you doing 10 reps of each move. Each set has a cardio component, an upper body move, a lower body move, and some include an ab workout. Jillian is great at telling you how to modify the move to make it easier or more advanced. The moves are basic and uncomplicated. The plan right now is to do each video once a week and work my way up to twice a week.
Everything seems to be going to the little 100 Calorie packets…some good, some just smaller versions of the same bad for you stuff. BUT, I found one 100 calorie product worth checking out. It’s Orville Redenbacher’s smart pop mini bags. The kind I tried is the kettle korn, but it’s available in butter flavor as well. The kettle korn (and I’m assuming the butter flavor) is only 1 point for the entire bag, and it’s more than enough for one person.
