Frozen Foods November 30, 2007
I rely on frozen foods for lunch most days just because they make things a little easier. I keep several in the fridge at work, so I’m never without a couple of choices. That way, I hopefully won’t resort to running across the street where there’s everything from McDonald’s to KFC.
But, let’s face it…most frozen dinners are boring, tasteless, and never look as good as the picture on the box. Well, I found one that definitely was different and had plenty of spice and kick. It’s Chile Cilantro Glazed Shrimp from Archer Farms (Target’s brand). It is spicy (very spicy imo) shrimp and a tropical fruit salsa over whole wheat orzo. It has 240 calories, 7 grams of fat, 5 grams of fiber, and 12 grams of protein. That’s 5 points for WW. It was good and had a caribbean jerk flavor and feel to it.
