I’m taking another day’s rest before I attempt a run. Rest? did I say rest? Had a couple of large lawns to mow today and I can still feel a bit of a strain, like a pulling sensation in my calf muscle muscle and the rest of my leg muscles are aching as I sit here. :( Guess this set of tides was rough on me. Oh well, suck it up!!! I’m interested to see how I make out when I finally get to run Ooooooooh could what don’t kill me actually make me stronger, for real???

Can any one tell me how to get my name to link back to my blog when I leave comments? I can’t figure it out…duh!

Answer to a Question: Travelgal asked me here in my comments about what I ate that I lost 3 lbs this past week esp. since I don’t log my food. Now don’t forget, this week I burned a shit load of calories crawling and climbing over kelp rocks, and I did it all with not one sliver of cake for medicinal purposes, so I had to lose! 8-) …okay so, I find it too frustrating to try and remember what I eat and that I don’t want to spend a bunch of time counting/figuring out calories, I’ve decided to eat for fuel. Healthy, simple, quick meals that fit my busy schedule. For bfst I usually eat a yogurt, a fruit, high fiber cereal, like Fibre 1 honey clusters or bran flakes with honey something??? two of my favs. Or cheerios! I also have a small dish of cereal after a run for the fiber/carbs and I get an extra 9 grams of protein in my skim milk. Love a bonus! My lunches are anything I can scratch up that involves a serving of lean protein, veggies, dairy, whole grain bread, or brown rice or sweet potato mmmm, if I want. Same with all my chow You know, just normal heart healthy chow. Where I’ve fought my battle for years is over cutting out sweets and all of the other crap, but it’s a lot easier now that I’m fixated on running to lose and food to fuel it all. So, in a nutshell, I eat what I want, as long as it’s healthy and not too much, and I cut out the junk, totally!!! End of junk…just like that…cold turkey… now that was funny! Mmmmm turkey.

A huge source of inspiration is this amazing chick, tylerdurden who has RAN off 39 pounds in 12 weeks!!! And, don’t forget all of that cycling, too! Another thing I love doing so I’m very motivated to follow in her footsteps and see what I can accomplish in the next 11 weeks! One down!

And now my sit bones are hurting hellish so I’m outta here for a bit!
