Chasing away Chubby

Here are some pics form my adventures this summer.

My son’s youth minister, Stick boy and my neice.  It looks as if they are praising God, but they were playing football near the water and the ball landed in the water and splashed them and this was their reaction.  I took this completely by mistake.  It is one of those cool pics where you were just lucky to have caught it.

I know that technically Summer will not be over for another month and a half.  But, I return to work tomorrow, so technically Summer is over for me!    :(    I am tremendously sad.  I hate that it is over and I hate that there were several things around the house that I did not get done.  Oh well, back to the daily grind.  I wish I could be off with my kids all the time. They grow up so fast and you miss so much working. 

Speaking of growing up, Stick Boy will be 16 tomorrow!  UGH!  I am so old!  That means it has been 16 years since I was 17!!  How did I get old, and how do I stop myself from getting older?  UGH!  Time flies.  He has conme up to me like 40 times today and said “Hey Mom…Ya know it’s my birthday tomorrow!”  He has done this to everyone he has seen all day!   It makes you want to pull your hair out, ya know!

Well the plan for tomorrow is that there is no real plan.    ;)    I am getting up at 7:00 am to workout and then get ready for work.  Call boss to see if I can go to the training that is here in town (I hope so!) or do I have to go into work a whole 45 mins away?  Then it’s off to work.  After work I will pick up DS1 take him to get his schedule for school, pick up a cake and take him home.  We are opening presents at 6:00 and having cake and ice cream with the family.  His party with his friends over is Saturday night at my Sister’s. She has a pool.  

I am dying my hair as we speak.  I have a tan for the first time in my life (and the freckles to go with it!) and I was almost the same color as my hair.  That would never do!  So I am dying my hair a lighter blonde.  I want to go back to work with a tan and some blond-ness.  make all those 12 month teachers (who make more money then me because they are 12 months) jealous.  I am hoping someone notices that I have lost weight!  No one around here has yet.  

Oh yeah…positive changes I have noticed lately.  My cut off jogging pants that used to fit are now loose.  Really loose.  So loose that I have to pull them up almost to my boobs to make them look right.  :)   Then I noticed today in the mirror that I have the beginnings of a bicep!   :o    My calves are more toned (and bigger), my quads look really good… my stomach is smaller, and my boobs are now bigger than my gut!!  Even with a sports bra on!!!  Yay Me!  I actually can not wait until Saturday.  I am taking my measurements and comparing them to a month ago to see how far I have come.  Maybe I will take a pic as well.

Well it’s time to rinse this crap outta my hair!
