Chasing away Chubby

The mad dash to get ready for camping has begun.  It’s 12:30 at night and I am still washing clothes so we will all have everything we need.  How many towels do you take for 6 people for 2 days?  I know when we were kids we’d string our used towels up to dry to use again.  I know that sounds gross but packing 18 towels just isn’t feasible or sensible.  I figure 2 towels each.  1 for the beach and 1 for the bath.  I don’t know…12 towels seems like alot. I guess we will make do with however many we bring.  I can’t find Ds3 swimming trunks.  He has 2 pair and they just disappeared into thin air.  I am packing PSP’s, Gameboys, leapfrog games, DD’s barbie laptop…anything to keep them busy and happy.  I am also packing coloring books and Ds3 Cars (from the movie).  Also, I am packing sand toys for the beach.  Entertaining 8 kids (4 are mine, 4 nieces) for 3 days will be challenging.  DS1 is bringing his Harry Potter book 7.  He has already read it, but he says he is gonna re-read the best parts again.  I’m gonna pack me some books as well.  i will be sitting on the beach with the young’uns so I will get bored very easily watching them play in the sand. 

I just hope I don’t forget anything important.  I just remembered, I don’t have a sleeping bag for myself.  Oh, well i will see if Mom has one I can borrrow.  If not I will be fine with my comforters.

I still have tons to do.  Need to pack my own bag.  I just realized I bet we are about out of conditioner.  Ahhh!

I am happy to report I made my hell week goal of 450 minutes!!!  I AM AWESOME!   

Mom And Sis4 are gonna take care of my doggy and the kitties while we are away.    I wonder if he cats will even notice we are gone!
