Weight today: Down to 192.6!

Body fat percentage: 37%

Yay! AF arrived last night (A Valentine’s Day Curse??) so hopefully the weight will continue to come off. I think baby and I will go out and do a few errands today and then I’ll do some yoga/stretching while he is napping.  I made some spaghetti sauce yesterday with tons of zucchini, tomato chunks, mushrooms and carrots in it, so all I need to do it cook some whole grain spaghetti and I will be set for eating today. Well I guess I can’t have it for breakfast, so shredded wheat for breakfast.

Nothing much to post about today, as you can see. I hope that I can beat my last tomorrow at the race. I will post when I get back from it.

Weight today: 193.2

I went to the local running store yesterday with my friend who was registering for a 5k program and I saw that they had the Moving Comfort Maia bra in my current size on sale. If it had been a measly 20 percent off, I’d probably ignored it, but it was a full 50 percent off. Actually, it was more than that I think because the tag said 44.00 and I only paid 20. 18 with tax. Pretty good deal! It does not support as well as my enell, but it does offer good support.

I  can still feel that chicken salad bagel sitting in my gut. That will not be a a meal I eat very often lol. I’m going to do a 3 mile run today after we eat breakfast. I will report when we get back.

Yay, my not giving into my late night eating paid off! I wonder if I could do 5 pounds by valentine’s day? Bleck, I won’t think about that. I’ll be keeping busy today so hopefully eating will be kept under control while on the go.

Weight today was 199 on the dot. I was all dressed to go running today before I did groceries. It was drizzling  a bit but I still planned to do it. of course, the downpour started just as I was pulling into the parking lot. I know a lot of people run in the rain, but I dont have a stroller cover to protect the baby and I dont’ have a poncho to protect myself. Plus, I’m afraid of slipping and hurting myself. I am going to do either Y!F or DDR today instead and run with my best friend tomorrow. Hopefully it won’t rain.

I bought groceries today, as I said, and thank goodness because it was getting down to the bare bones :) well not really, it was just stuff that I was tired of eating. Still trying to get off the diet pepsi’s . I wish they weren’t in the house, but DH is addicted to them and I wouldnt even dream of asking him not to drink them, he would die of indignation. Nothing much else to report.

“Let’s Go Walkin, Mississippi” is the state’s plan to get people to stop being so overweight. I think Mississippi has the most obese people of any state. Pretty sad. In case you didn’t know, I live there lol. Can I blame my obesity on that?

Speaking of obesity, I have just 8 pounds to lose until I won’t be obese anymore. Seems like so much, but I will make it there eventually. My weight is down again to 202.0 this morning. that’s down .4 since yesterday, down 1.2 lbs since monday. Pretty neat! Let’s hope it keeps it up for awhile. It makes me so glad that I didn’t give in to my hunger pangs last night and eat a snack.

I upped my calorie count on The Daily Plate to “moderately active” that includes my childcare and housework, so I hope I live up to the calories. I may go walking today as well, we will wait and see. I have a lot to do today to prepare for DS’s bday party and I need to plan that day carefully so I don’t eat myself twice my size.

I went to a running shoe store and gosh those things are expensive! But I’ve decided not to run again until I get new shoes. I really think I could run again by next week, but I don’t want to do it in the shoes i have. I put them on yesterday and almost twisted my ankle again. I have a tendency to walk on the outside of my feet and that causes problems during running. I really need some shoes that correct that. Also the shoes I currently have are very warn and now lean to the outside, hence me almost breaking my neck yesterday, having not worn shoes in a couple of days. How could I not have noticed it before? i’m starting to wonder if that was the reason I hurt myself and not the rock.  Anyway, DH and I are discussing it. Hopefully I can get them soon (unless one of ya’ll will send me 120 dollars! )

You’ll probably spot a flying pig, because I just ran 3 minutes spurts with relative ease! I could not believe it. Granted, I wasn’t going super fast, but I was jogging! I did 10 minute walk, running part (90 sec jog, 90 sec walk, 3 minute jog, 3 min walk) 2 times and then 10 minutes walking. I also went back to the consignment shop and got a new pair of “dri” pants and a tennis skirt, with shorts sewn in. All for about 10 bucks! And the pants were brand new! I wore them today and there was no uncomfortableness at all. (Yes I just made that word up)

Weight is nearly back to normal which means that AF is imminent, but I have lot 2 inches off my waist since I measured last (over a month ago?) Here’s the menu for today:

B: oatmeal w/cinnamon and splenda

S: watermelon

L: baked turkey breast w/ mushrooms

S: probably more watermelon or strawberries

D: subway! turkey sub and side salad
