C25K- last day of week 5
Exercise, Menu 4 Comments »The 20 minute run was today and it was a doozy. I stopped at 10 minutes for a sip of water and then continued on. The last 10 minutes I was slow as a turtle, but still jogging and that’s what’s important, right?
Here’s week 6, day 1
Brisk five-minute warmup walk, then:
* Jog 1/2 mile (or 5 minutes)
* Walk 1/4 mile (or 3 minutes)
* Jog 3/4 mile (or 8 minutes)
* Walk 1/4 mile (or 3 minutes)
* Jog 1/2 mile (or 5 minutes)
There’s one more day with intervals and then the rest is just whole sets of running. One small problem is that my jogging stroller’s wheels are super squeaky. People can hear me coming from a mile away. It’s kind of funny, though I think I need to get some WD40. I feel delightfully tired now, but I need to do my weights.
Menu:
6:00 banana
8:00 bran flakes w/2 percent milk (we are out of skim!)
9:30 Cup of hot green tea
10:15 soy peach yogurt
11:00 baked chicken breast w/ lima beans, half of a baked sweet potatoe
2:00 small bowl of bran flakes, 1/4 banana
4:30 baked chicken breast w/ mixed veggies, half a sweet potatoe
