I did well in all aspects except for drinking water today.

B: leftover half of a turkey sub

S: Blueberries

L: baked pork chop (in olive oil) and mixed veggies(sweet peas, cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, squash)

S: a little sweet potatoe

D: tuna sub from subway ( I resisted the cookies!)

I also had a bit of watermelon before 8 oclock

Baby and I went walking again. I originally wanted to find a different park to go to, but it was terribly dilapidated, and it was next to a cemetery. Not my idea of a good time. So, I went to the park we visited yesterday and we walked around again. I then came home and did 30 minutes of Y!F.

Don’t get me wrong. I love my workout, but if she asks me to do jumping jacks one more time, I will kill her. My boobs can not stand a lot of bouncing. I just march or do heeljacks , when she starts doing jumping jacks. We focused mostly on upper body today and I feel really good.

I started today off with breakfast with the baby (I had oatmeal, he had mashed bananas) and then we went for an almost 30 minute walk in the park. It was a nice windy day, but warm and we both really enjoyed it. It’s a park we’d never been to before, so there was lots to explore. Only bad thing that happened was the baby got bit by a fly :( He was not happy. Anyhoo….I have no idea what I’m going to eat today since the groceries are getting low and there’s slim pickins. I will come up with something, I always do!

It was a pretty good day, as far as exercise and fun went. Eating did not go too well, but I wasn’t out of control like I usually can be on holidays.

B: 2 eggs

S: low carb ice cream

L: steak, (small amount of) mashed potatoes, mixed veggies, whole wheat roll, cucumbers

D: Same as lunch

My best friend and I played DDR for about 2-3 hours and I did 15 minutes of Y!F just now. I am good and sore now and will enjoy a cup of green tea and a nice hot bath and then go to sleeeeeep :)

I am going to weigh in tomorrow morning. Happy Memorial Day all!

This weekend

The weekend has been pretty good so far. Menu for yesterday:

B: Unintentionally skipped it, just didn’t have time

L: Oatmeal w/strawberries

D1: 1 tilapia fillet w/3 cups mixed veggies (black beans, corn, red peppers, tomatoes)

D2: lean hamburger on whole wheat bun, handful of strawberries

Yes, we grilled last night, but they are burgers made with lean meat and on whole wheat so I don’t feel too bad…as long as I don’t eat too many .

Today’s menu:

B: leftover hamburger and strawberries

L: tilapia w/ veggies (zucchini, squash, broccoli, peppers)

S: cantaloupe

D: probably more tilapia w/veggies

I worked out Saturday night, but I did miss my Friday workout, so I will do a workout tonight, which is normally an off day for me.

On an offtopic note, I am going to the movies for the first time in months. I’ve been one other time since the baby’s been born, so I’m really excited.

Is VERY depressing. I can’t wear most of those clothes. most are a size 10-12 with a few 14s and 16s. I can wear the 14s. but the 16s fit more comfortably. I so want to fit back in a size 10 and maybe even down to an 8.  My major problem area is my gut :( I can do it though, I will fit those clothes again!

No exercise today and that was planned, but those 2 chocolate chip cookies I had were not!

I went to subway and asked for one chocolate chip cookie, and sandwich and a bottled water. The person who works there started telling me they couldn’t just sell me one cookie, it needed to be 2 so it would be a meal. She wanted to argue, so I said, Okay, just give me 2. It was like the old days with me eating crap and then feeling like crap afterwards. I felt so sick and I know that I didn’t need to eat both cookies and shouldn’t have asked for the first one. So lesson learned. I had nothing but fruit and water the rest of the day.

How addicted I’ve become to exercising again. Lately, I’ve been doing it at night after the baby goes to sleep because that’s the only time I get uninterrupted time (except when the little stinker wakes up unexpectedly :) ) and I have to practically drag myself in there to do it. But afterwards, I feel like I could take on the world. Afterwards, I make a cup of tea, get into a nice warm bubble bath and read. Soooo nice. I hope I continue to do so well.

Ok menu today…I was out and about a lot today doing some shopping so I visited subway twice lol

8:00…shared a little cantaloupe with my son

10:00…2 homemade meatballs (special low carb recipe) w/ lots of mixed veggies

1:30….Turkey sub w/ lots of veggies as toppings. cheese

6:00…Tuna sub w/ lots of veggies as toppings, cheese

8:00….a small piece of boneless, skinless baked chicken breast

Did 45 minutes of Y!F that mostly focusted on lower body strength. I feel great!
