Weird Weekend

Post should be read from 3FC site only - darn spammers!!!!

Well the shift didn’t last long — went south on Friday - -ate too much pasta salad at lunch. Then craved a chocolate bar on the way home - had to stop for milk and bought the chocolate (thought it was close to TOM). Although I will admit I didn’t eat anything after that. I know in my old days I could plow through a chocolate bar with ease - and then stuff my self silly with a full fledged dinner. Saturday was just weird - -spent most of the day taking care of my mom. She was in a bad place - which is sad because she only has one more treatment left — but she was so darn low she could have cared less and just wondered what life had in store for her next. I finally walked away from her bedroom and went into her living room to read until she was ready to act human. By the time I got home on Saturday it was close to 5pm and I was done in. We had a movie to watch at 7 so that was great — I don’t think I ate again but I must have picked at something - can’t even remember.

Sunday was a lovely day - we had already done mother’s day last week for me and my mom so this was about my enjoying myself and my sweetie going to play tennis with his family. Where we live is truly a jewel on this planet earth and the area by the tennis courts is glorious. I got my sweetie to drop me off near one of the other beaches and I walk down to the club. Its the most beautiful scenery and I get to really take in all the lovely houses (most are valued at least 2 million $$) Anyway its a lovely 40 minute walk - I am sunburned on my chest today - -remembered sunscreen on my face but not my neck and chest area. We thought we were going to eat at the club after tennis but the restaurant was closed so we didn’t eat until closer to 5 - I was STARVED. Only able to eat half the pasta - have th rest for lunch.

So it was a weird weekend with my eating - -nothing too horrid but nothing really good either - strange strange. Just pleased about my lovely walk above everything.
