My daughter made her college President’s List…again!!!
Well it is official…I am to have surgery on my shoulder on the 29th of May… not looking forward to it but hopefully it will restore my arm to 100% and maybe someday I can even bowl again…I miss that probably more than any other activity.
I have NOT given up on my goal!! I still plan to reach my goal of 175!! I just have to convince myself that 85 pounds is NOT enough…great but not where I want to end up. I have this apparent brain block that keeps me content (but not happy) with my weight loss.
Took Jade and DJ out to supper last night her for making the President’s List at college in her ADN program (for the 2nd semester in a row…you go girl!!!!) and him for his 23rd birthday. We had a great time and when we came back Jade and I walked her block 3 times …and it was a long block!!! My hubby walked with us 2 rounds and her hubby (lazy bum…just kidding, DJ) only walked one.
I know the weekend is upon us again and I will TRY to behave myself…if possible. Since it is Mother’s Day this Sunday may I wish all you mother’s out there an early HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY !!
I wish my mom was still with me so I could wish her a Happy Mother’s Day in person. All of you who are still fortunate to have your moms still alive…be sure to tell them Happy Mother’s Day and how much they mean to you…before it is too late and all you can do is place a flower on her grave!!!
Well I will say goodnight and will check back in as time permits!!!!

I have been so mad at myself. I have been up and down (mostly up)and too disgusted to post though I do come in here on a regular basis and lurk around.
Yes,Thank you! Jade was homeschooled all her pre-college years.She graduated at age 15. The Lord has really blessed her in her education.

Sorry to hear about the surgery, but they have good results with shoulder surgery so maybe bowling will happen soon.

Congratulations on your daughter making the President’s list. You and she must be very proud! I did see my mom on Friday for Mother’s Day and talked to my birth mom today on the phone. Thanks for the reminded to not take the people we love for granted. Hugs to you!
