I had thoughts of changing my weigh day to Friday because I always do so uch worse on the weekend. But I decided taht if I weighed on Friday it would give me an excuse to be lax on the weekend. So two more days until weigh in, though I am eager to do so.

Yesterday one of the unit vehicles came under fire whilst transporting my second in command (don’t tell him that) to his daytime station. A retreat was made succesfully and the vehicle was successfully fixed a local shop. My S-I-C had to stay at the home base for the day, though luckily he is in the Techinical unit and could work from here. Whilst picking up the fixed vehicle he tried to persuade me to eat at a public mess hall. I almost gave in, but we returned to base and I fixed the Taco Casserole, which I really loved and he said was good, but not his fav. He is a meat and potato type man.
Today I have been given leave from my daytime station to pursue … um, well, whatever I want.
At the front, there have been no sightings of Count Calorie since the start of the war. It has been leaked that he is taking an extended holiday, all but abdicating his position in favor of his untitled cousin, and my spymaster!, Weight Watcher. I wonder if Weight Watcher did not have something to do with his cousin’s hasty exit. But I will not voice these thoughts aloud as I am sure the Weight Watcher is on my side, however dubious his means. Though no battle was fought, this is a great triumph for our side.
Sir Scale has made daily attempts to engage us in battle. We have so far been able to out manuever him. I know for sure his bids for blood will not stop. Of all my enemies he is the most heartless. His greatest ally, Lord Food, visits me daily with no regard for the war. He makes appearances everywhere I go. I admit in the past we have been involved, but now that I try to avoid him, he is making a concentrated effort to be in my path. I think he is rather enamored with me, for all the good it will do him. In the past I should have taken heed to my confidants when they bid me end the affair with Lord Food. I foolishly let it go on until this point, but no more! Lord Food will not be at the center of my life, he will never rule me again. To quote my favorite movie, “You have no power over me. “

Opps, forgot that the boss was taking me out for my annual review today. Free lunch at Applebee’s and a great review, :) Will save the spaghetti for tomorrow.
Note about Applebee’s Weight Watcher Garlic Herb Chicken: Entirely too much of the garlic sauce and way too much garlic in the sauce. Nasty, I scrapped it all off and couldn’t eat some of my broccoli that was drenched in the stuff.
I’ve got to eat more than this tomorrow.
Cookies will not be allowed into the camps from this point forth. Well, maybe occassionally but it will be very rarely. A list of banned foods has been posted at the mess hall. Anyone found with contraband items will be disciplined.
This is a reminder that one day a week has been set aside for the minimal consumption of contraband items. Yesterday was not that day. The party guilty of breaking rules may have to give up the cake leave she had been granted this upcoming weekend for her sister’s birthday. We will have to see what the rest of the week holds.
