Well I have the fat belly, I might as well try to grow the beard, and let the white hairs take over.   Thank gawd the food madness will soon be over…….omg.  I am ODing on junk.    I cannot possibly put one more thing in my mouth, oh wait..maybe just that little bite of…nah, cannot do it..

So guess what my DH is doing for me????    Huh, huh wanna know?  Well, since we moved into our new house in Kauai, we have not had a bathtub.  We have two bathroom but only two showers, not uncommon in Hawaii.  I love a bath, and I miss my bathtub so much. :(

Well we have plans to gut the laundry room this spring, put it outside where it belongs and turn the laundry room into a full size bath as well as remodel and enlarge both the masterbath and the main bathroom, so we will have three full size bathrooms complete with bathtubs…woohoo.   But until then it is showers :(

So, my DH started to built this secret thing in the carport behind a barrier of tarp and I was told to stay away, but being the snoop that I am, I peeked :)   And he is building me a “Shannon’s Sanctuary”   It is a beautiful little bamboo room complete with jacuzzi tub, tile flooring, candles, golden mosquito netting and reading lights.  I can lay in the tub and listen to the ocean waves and smell the ocean and feel the trade winds and I can actually soak in a tub and have a bubble bath.  So now when I am stressed and I need a bath and some bubbles I can really have some :)  Once we are ready to build the bathrooms inside we can tear it down and use the material for the outdoor laundry room, but I don’t know if I will want to part with it.   So it will be ready for tonight, he promised me my first bath on Christmas Eve :)
