OMG, we have gotten so much fookin rain.  Careful what you wish for is right.  I wanted to see SOME cause it has been so darn dry, well I say some all right.  We got five fookin inches today.  I got about 8 miles from home on the way to work today and that was at a crawl because the water was just running off the mountains over the road into the ocean.  Then when I got past Waimea the whole road was flooded and the cops turned me back.  Took about 1 1/2 hours to open the road one way, so I was late for work!!  But that is okay, things like that happen on the island all the time cause we only have one highway, and no back or side roads.   I am here safe and sound now.  It is still raining so hopefully I will make it home tomorrow.

Well I think I am doing okay in my detox from soda.  It is day three and so far other than a very slight headache from no caffiene I am doing fine.  I miss it more than I thougth I would just cause I liked it and it was nice to have some thing other than water to drink.  I am starting to like the flavored Snapple white tea too and it is only 60 calories but loaded in sugar, 15g!   But on the other hand it is only 1 point :)

I think I have finally found a diet I really like!!  Woohoo for me.  This WW is a good deal.  The point system seems to be a good thing and easy to do.  Points gone, you are done for the day.  And real food, no counting calories, doesn’t have to be diet food or special food and I can eat anything as long as I stay in my point valve for the day.   I am liking it a lot.  I never feel depribed or hungry.  In fact some days I don’t always get in all my points, especially on days when I am sleeping cause of work.

I bought the neatest little points counter and take it with me everywhere and read all labels and check everything.  I feel great and Monday will be my first weigh in.  Will not be a very honest weigh in though as I am on a pure liquid diet on Sat and Sun and have to do two days of bowel prep (ugh and double ugh) for my colonoscopy and EGD on Monday morning…..OMG, I have to have my bare butt viewed!   And chance it will be a gazzillion times smaller by Monday?  Ya thing? :)  Maybe?  :(

Oh well I have to have this done, cannot put it off any longer.  The evil deed must be done.  Sigh!

But I am so happy with WW, I cannot even let the thought that my doctor and probably the entire hospital staff will see my naked butt.  I am sure once I am totally sedated they will sell tickets for the showing ( I will never live this down).  But I am determined to get healthly before I have to have my impending visit with Billy Barker (that is a #11 surgical blade for all you lay people) in the new year, and looks like I am finally on the right track.  Now if I can only stay there…..
