Thursday Plan

November 19th, 2008

I have two appointments today and need to get some work done after. I will have to eat on the fly in the morning.

Food Plan:

  • Banana
  • Homemade granola with applesauce
  • 1/2 serving peanuts
  • Grilled cheese sandwich with buddig beef
  • Tangerine
  • Hot cocoa made with almond milk and mini marshmallows
  • Sweet and Spicy chicken with rice or beef stir-fry with veggies over rice
  • Salad with light ranch dressing
  • Small Pomegranate

 

Action Goals:

  • Write up report
  • Put away clothes
  • Do at least 20 min Tai Chi

 

Wednesday

November 19th, 2008

Late to the starting gate again. 

  • 2 doughnuts
  • Tastes of homemade granola while making it
  • Leftover pork and sauerkraut
  • Tangerine
  • Cheese tortellini with crab, spinach, artichokes, mushrooms, green onions with garlic and oil
  • Salad with balsamic dressing
  • Small pomegranate

 

Action Goals:

  • Write up report
  • Make granola
  • Trim bushes
  • Start organizing garage
  • Spend 20 minutes just reading with no other distractions

 

 

Tuesday Plan

November 18th, 2008

Getting a slow start to the day as I started researching some work at home opportunities instead of doing the actual work that I have right now. Not the smartest move but I have already eaten breakfast so that is a good thing.

Food Plan for today:

  • Honeynut cheerios with almond milk
  • 6 in banana
  • 8oz OJ
  • Left over pork with sauerkraut
  • 1/2 of left over veggie egg fuo young
  • Yoplait yogurt
  • Dinner TBD (not sure what I am making yet but I have options to choose from)
  • Popcorn

Action Goals:

  • Finish report working on
  • Complete inspection
  • finish laundry downstairs (for 2 people we certainly have too much laundry but I don’t know how to reduce anymore since we already wear pants at least twice, use towels more than 1 day at least, Change into lounging clothes that we use for a few days before washing after work)
  • Make list of phone calls needed to make
  • Do at least 20min of Tai chi

Sunday

November 16th, 2008

I am a bit stressed today. Hopefully I will be able to keep the stress eating to a minimum. I weighed in today because I won’t be able to weigh in tomorrow morning due to my schedule.  I weighed in at 269.5. That is down 3lbs from last week.  Yay! The hormone water weight is leaving! 

Food for today:

  • 2 apple cinnamon waffles with a bit of maple syrup and olive oil margarine
  • Turkey sandwich with mayo
  • 1 apple
  • 1/2 serving of peanuts
  • Chinese for dinner… probably egg foo young for me with very little rice if any
  • 1/2 of a pomagrante if need snack for after dinner

Action Goals for today:

  • spend at least 20 min reading a fun book
  • do some Tai chi moves
  • prepare paperwork to drop off on Monday
  • clean off cable box and figure out where to exchange it tomorrow

 

 

Friday

November 14th, 2008

Why is it that when things are already messed up they just get worse?  The garage door broke this morning when my husband came back because he forgot something that he needed to drop off at my mom’s house. Somehow a garabage can got hung up on the door and the safety didn’t work. Yay! So luckily I was able to get someone to come between 11 and 1 today but hoping it won’t be much money.

Anyways…

Food for today:

  • Honeynut cheerios with almond milk
  • Small banana
  • 2 slices of pineapple
  • 1/2 serving of peanuts
  • Lunch TBD… probably left overs
  • Salad
  • Dinner TBD… Not sure if we are eating at home or going out. Depends on the garage door most likely

 

Action goals:

          Pick up the living room

  • Pick up the foyer
  • Rearrange garage so that stuff is out of the technicians way
  • Make Grocery list
  • FILE COUPONS!

Thursday

November 13th, 2008

AF is kicking my butt right now. I didn’t do so hot yesterday both foodwise and lifewise yesterday. Today I should be doing some more but really, I am not. I am getting up and doing things as I am able now because pain pills finally kicked in a bit but the pressure…. oh geez, it has been a while since one has been this bad. I had back cramps over the summer and right now I would totally rather go back to that pain then this pressure that makes no position comfortable for long.

Okay, done whining.

Food for Thursday so far:

  • Honeynut cheerios with almond milk
  • Small banana
  • 8 oz of orange juice
  • 1 rootbeer

I don’t know what I am going to eat for lunch but I really should get something to eat.

Dinner is in the crockpot and is chuckroast with potatoes, carrots, celery, and onions. I used a new recipe for seasoning the dish so hopefully it comes out ok. I think I will probably have a salad with dinner or before dinner at some point. Need to use it up. I also will have some pineapple at some point today because I cut a whole one yesterday and want to use it up before it goes bad.

Action Goals:

  • Quit Whining
  • Eat Lunch
  • File Coupons
  • Go to library
  • Finish laundry that is downstairs
  • Spend at least 20 min just reading a book with no distractions

Wednesday

November 12th, 2008

Yesterday was a bit of a messed up day. Things are a bit rough for me emotionally right now so I wanted to crunch. I ended up making popcorn for lunch instead of eating what I had planned.  Not the best choice but I didn’t go and get greasy food from somewhere so it is better than it might have been.

Today I have to work at home and then I have to babysit my niece tonight.  I should have said no but I feel bad because my sister needs to work and if she doesn’t have a sitter, she brings my niece with her now and that is just crazy.

Right Now I am not really in the mood to focus on this but know it needs to be done.

Food Plan:

  • Honeynut cheerios with almond milk
  • 1/2 serving of peanuts
  • small banana
  • Left over bbq chicken/pork/onions with 1 slice of bread
  • Salad with light ranch
  • Pineapple
  • Yoplait yogurt
  • Can of cheese tortellini soup with oyster crackers
  • Carrots with guacamole
  • 1/2 serving of peanuts

 

Action Goals:

  • Get work done
  • Do 1 load of laundry
  • Plan dinner for Thursday
  • File Coupons

Eh, got to find a way to get in a better mood.

 

Tuesday Plan

November 10th, 2008

Monday didn’t go completely to plan, but I am okay with it.  I need to do a bit better today. Hopefully no eating on the run today. I plan to take a banana with me to allow for hunger on the run.

  • 1 cup veggie puree, = potatoes, carrots, fennel, celery, onions
  • 1 serving of unsalted almonds
  • 1 small banana
  • 1 can of cheese tortellini soup, 1 serving of oyster crackers
  • 1 cup pineapple, 1 small apple
  • 1 bbq pulled chicken/pork sandwich with grilled onions
  • Chips, carrots, and guacamole
  • Salad with light ranch dressing
  • FF hot cocoa made with almond milk, 1 serving of mini marshmallows
  • 1 white chocolate macadamia nut cookie

 

Action Goals:

  • Arm stretches
  • Finish report
  • File coupons
  • Laundry
  • Take down Cubs Flag
  • Eat dinner at table

 

 

 

Monday Again

November 10th, 2008

I have pretty much been a slug for the last few days between my ankle and a migraine.  I did watch my carbs closely for most of friday but gave up when dinner was pizza and pop. 

I did weigh in today and was 272.5 so down a half pound.  AF still hasn’t shown up. She was due the 3rd but I had to take 7 days of Provera so I am guessing she will be here soon I hope.  If she doesn’t show up with provera this will definately be interesting.

Anyhow, on to the plan:

  • Banana
  • serving of peanuts
  • FF cocoa made with almond milk
  • 2 small pieces of corn beef leftover
  • 1 cup of veggie puree–potatoes, carrots, celery, fennel, onions
  • 1/2 cup of corn
  • 1 hamburger with bun, with lettuce, mushrooms, onions
  • 1 serving baked beans
  • Salad with garlic vinegrette dressing
  • 1/2 a pomagrante
  • On the run, not planned, whopper jr without ketchup and onions, small dr pepper

Action Goals:

  • Stretches for arms and legs
  • File away coupons from Sunday
  • Run to store
  • Eat dinner at the table again
  • Work on Work stuff

Friday Plan

November 6th, 2008

If my ankle will cooperate (I twisted it working in the yard on Thursday) I will practice a full session of Tai Chi. I need to practice because my class has been cancelled and I can’t take the other session offered because of the time. I am hoping to be able to sign up again in the Spring but I don’t want to forget everything I learned.

Food Plan

  • Sample Package of Fiber One Cereal with almond Milk
  • 1/2 serving of peanuts
  • Apple
  • 1 shake and bake pork chop, mashed potatoes with spinach and fennel
  • Salad with carrots, radishes, celery and olives, with garlic vingrette dressing
  • Dinner is TBD, not sure if we are eating at home or going out.

Action Goals for Friday:

  • Tai Chi (If possible)
  • Make progress on Living room
  • Match paperwork
  • Change sheets
  • Cut coupons, file, and clean out coupon organizer
  • Look for new recipes to try next week
