Weigh in and measure day

I weighed in today and stayed the same! I really not surprised at that. I weighed today after eating breakfast and drinking water. Last time I weighed it was in the morning before I had anything. Next time I weigh it will be in the afternoon. I have lost 28 pounds and 41 inches in all. I was really happy about the inches.

I went to the dr. and he took me off the sling. He said it would be better if I use my arm. After seeing him I went to work out. Did the bicycle for 12 min., leg machines, treadmill for 20 minutes. I really feel good about that. I am going to keep on exercising even with my arm hurt. I have to win that Biggest Loser Contest at my gym. I feel in peril now since I can’t exercise as usual.

Tomorrow I will be 50. I can’t believe it. Oh well, considering the alternative, I’m glad!

Exercizing is difficult w/ fractured arm

I did go exercize yesterday even with my arm. I stayed about 40 min. I was able to ride the bike, leg machines, and treadmill. It wasn’t easy but it is necessary. I have made too much progress to quit now. I go to the doctor tomorrow and I hope 6-8 weeks in this sling will be cut. I’m a little worried about weigh in tomorrow. I hope I lose at least 3 lbs. but I have a feeling it will show 1 or 2. I sure can tell I am losing inches though. My 14’s are getting loose…YEAH! Since we were out a week of school, people have noticed since we’ve been back that I’ve lost. Those comments sure make you feel good!

It’s broken!

I have a radial fracture of my left arm. I am in a sling. That’s all I can do right now. I will not be able to exercise my arms for awhile….6-8 weeks. I am bound and determined to continue to exercise 3x per week. I will do the treadmill and bicycle and as many leg machines as possible. Drats, my plan is foiled. I hope this setback will not stop my successful weight loss to date.

What a Day!

Today was not a good day. I did not stay on plan (see food log) and probably had way too much sodium. I can tell because I drank a lot of water and am not peeing as usual. I also tripped and hurt my arm. I am afraid it is either broken or sprained bad. I will give it a few days and then go to the doctor. It hurts when I move it a certain way. All I could think about was I would not be able to exercise like I have been. That will be awful. We will see.
