Got some time today to update…

I found my step counter! I had placed it up on my shelf while I was getting dress about a month ago and since I had just bought it, I was NOT buying another one! So I have been wearing it since last Tuesday and have been averaging about 5,000 steps a day…NOT GOOD. You need to walk at least 6,000 steps to maintain your weight and 10,000 to loose! So everyday I have added more steps…I was almost over 6,000 last night!

My DH and I use to walk 5-6 days per week…we have been busy and I have NOT wanted to walk. Well, last night he asked me to walk and even though I was screaming inside, I don’t feel like it…I got my shoes and coat on and said “Lets go”. We got outside and it started raining before we got out of our driveway. Well, I was disappointed…he was so right to motivate me and next time I will be ready!

Been watching how much I have been eating at meal times. Cut out ice cream a few nights ago. I am at 240.

There I said it for all the world to see…I know who cares. Well, I should and do, I need to see this number move toward 200 by my birthday next year!

Day 1- I need to journal…

…what I eat. My downfall is sweets and salt so in hopes of improving my intake, I need to keep track of what I eat and drink…so here goes. DH and I walked last night…it had been several days and we can tell! Need to get back on a schedule. Another thing I notice, I need to work on is when I stay up late, I snack…so I need to go to bed earlier…or learn to CONTROL the snack BEAST! People…feel free to pass along tips to help me with snacking…
