I’d say it was a good day..

Pretty good day today! I ate pretty much within my 1500 cal, I do think I went over by 100 cal or so. Still, not to shabby. I actually might not of because Im not real sure about the calories of everything I ate today so I rounded up. I was really hungry for my last snack though, I mean really , my stomach was growling. My nephew and I went for a walk. Im not sure how far we walked but im guessing around 2 miles. I also worked today.  Im pretty sore actually. Might of been more than 2 miles. I actually wasnt very hard to get motivated today. I drank alot of water, which I have been doing very good at. I took my vitamin. Im feeling good about this. I think I should see some change by my weight in on Mon. Atleast I think Im gonna weigh in on Mondays.  Seems like a good time.

  1. Try to get an exact number for your calories….I think this could be the problem….your almost always estimating and leaving it kinda thrown up in the air. You may be surprised at some of the caloric values of what your eating….

    A good rule of thumb that I use….If I don’t know the caloric value of a food and therefore can’t figure calories….I just don’t eat it…if I really really want it…I save it for either Sat or Sun when I have my 1 splurge meal a week!

    Heather you are kicking some butt on this exercise…..and I know the Halloween Challenge and being on teams has you motivated really well right now! I really want you to be successful and start seeing the results you are working so hard to get! I don’t want you to get discouraged. Please Please Please try this! Just try it….if you are 100% without a shadow of a doubt certain what your caloric intake is you will know where you stand….and what to adjust.

    You should only be taking in 1,300 calories per day to lose weight (your weight *7 = calories per day to eat)

    That is the formula they give in The Biggest Loser books that I have from the Dr.’s and trainers that helped write it. Maybe that is it….you have been hitting 1500 or more calories and maybe that is why you haven’t lost yet???

  3. Well….I thought I was suppose to have 1500 calories a week. I guess maybe thats why I havent been losing. Oh well..now I know. BUT….I did weigh today because I have been doing so well and its really not my weigh day til tommmorow but I LOST A PD! I finally might start losing. Im not fully just guessing my calories. I know ABOUT is in it. I know it is around say 230 calories, I might put 250 to be on the safe side. Ill take a look at that calorie king.

  4. HOLY FREAKIN’ POO!!!! HECK YEAH! OMG!!! You lost a pound that is sooooo exicting and awesome! I’m really really happy for you! I remember when I lost my first pound. A pound may not seem like much Heather but you gotta start somewhere and you just did!!! I’m so glad for you! You never know by tomorrow morning you may be 2lbs down! That is just so great!

    Keep it comin’ sister…we gotta win that 15 lb challenge!!! LOL!

    Im not gonna hold my breath about tommorow but hopefully that one pound is still gone.
