Why I need a Personal Chef.
July 23rd, 2008
I love to cook. In fact I’m a great cook. And I know how to cook healthy food that tastes good. In the past when I wanted to shed a few pounds I to could do so by having cereal for breakfast, packing a Lean Cuisine for lunch and making a healthy dinner. My favorite source for “diet” recipes is eatingwell.com.
So why do I need a Personal Chef? Well, 5 months ago I started working from home. The change in my routine resulted in LESS exercise (no more commuting to work and running around the office). I also had easier access to snacking and didn’t have to dress up - you don’t notice the weight creeping up when you are wearing yoga pants and tee shirts every day.
Yes, I finally got a grip and started dieting. I did South Beach for two weeks. Nothing happened. I tried Weight Watchers for 3 weeks - didn’t lose an ounce. I tried combining South Beach and Weight Watchers and spent all my spare time counting points, fat grams and fiber. Still, nothing. I’m stuck at 159 pounds and the scale will not budge. I decided I’ve had enough. I don’t want to think, plan, weigh, measure or log. I just want someone to FEED ME!
