Saturday was my 5 year wedding anniversary. It was hubbys year to do the planning and I must admit he did an awesome job. The whole weekend was so laid back & releaxing a definite must do again.
We did exercise on Saturday morning, however my eating was way off. Lots of hard work this week.
So I weighed in this morning - 197.2 which is up .4 from last week and I ma thinking it’s pre period weight as it is expected any day.
No Friday family night tonight as hubby & I are going away for the weekend - it’s our 5 year wedding anniversary. I’ll give full details on Monday.
I’m still working out, still practicing Paul McKennas rules but according to my calculations I may have consumed to many calories this week to loose - I figure I will either gain a lb or stay the same. To stay the same would be great.
I guess I only have myself to blame for this as I over indulged at Friday nights dinner & then Saturday before the concert we went to a new resturant for dinner & I over indulged there as well - shame on me. I did enjoy it!
So the million $ question this Friday is “what # will show on the scale?”
I feel as I have been in this rut that I can’t seem to break. Seems like ever since I lost my aunt & dad back to back a few months back I can’t seem to get back on the right track. I get on a track it’s just not the right track. I wonder sometimes if none of this would have happened would I be closer to my goal maybe even at goal. I keep telling myself somethings just gotta give and I know one day it will it’s just I was doing so good then - I was in a good rhythm.
This morning I got on the scale and I am proud to say I have broken my 5 week stall - down 2.2lbs. No I am still not at my pre weight before all went crazy but I am well on my way.
Every Friday I go out to dinner to a different resturant with my family - we take turns picking which makes it very interesting.
On any given Sunday I am usually eating out as we have church, grocery shopping and my hubby plays softball and it just seems easier to go out than to cook.
Sometimes on Thursday you will find me eating out as well - I meet up for a group workout session and we sometimes go to dinner afterwards.
I get the question of “what do you eat when uou go out” so I figured I would give an overall example - not all the time am I on my best behavior with food just depends on where we go.
Grilled or baked fish plain or with pepper sprinkled on it Steak (filet or sirloin) there again with lil to no seasoning A burger if I can get it on wheat and it’s either a bison or turkey burger or sometimes I will eat with no bread As far as sides go I usually do a salad dressing always on the side, veggies with no sauce of any kind, sweet potato only 1/2 of the butter they give and as far as fries I get sweet potato (if available) or I will eat about 10 of my hubbys.
Like I said I do have my times when I eat what I want how I want but for the most part this is how I do it.
So lastnight was the season finale and all along I was hoping a girl would win as a girl has not yet won.
On Monday I heard a live interview with Kelly and Julie (2nd place from last year) and they were talking of how Kelly moved in with Julie here in Jacksonville and worked out together and with Julies trainer. Upon hearing that I just knew Kelly had a great chance at winning…….
And the winner is Ali!!!!!
A woman has finally won and Ali looked great. To me each and everyone of them are winners as they all lost weight and have gotten healthier. So I say congrats to all that participated.
Can’t wait til next season
On April 1st I made the decision that I wanted to be able to do pushups, I watch my hubby do them with his perfect pushup things and he does them like they are soo easy so I started doing pushups well the girly kind as the regular ones makes me feel like my arms will snap if I go down.
I do 5 girly pushups everyday except Friday and hubby has been guiding me with his hands to help me do regular ones. I am hoping this will lead up to me being able to do regular push ups.
Wish me luck!
On Saturday morning at 7am hubby and I set out to walk the first annual 3FC 5k. It was a beautiful day.
We ended up walking 3.5 miles which we had maped out in advance and it took us 53minutes and 26seconds. We enjoyed the time together and loved the fact that it was all for the benefit of ourselves (our health)
Can’t wait til the next one.
I’m still following the Paul Mckenna steps and they are working for me.
Still doing the 3 days a week Biggest Loser exercise videos along with walking 3-5 days a week.
Weighed in this morning at 199 which means I am down .4 from lastweek. I was so hoping for more - better luck next week
Tonights family dinner is at Times Grill (my choice) and I have looked over the menu and I know what I will be having.
