I’m a failure

I keep trying to lose weight but no such luck.  Instead I’m just bigger.  I just want to give up and gain another 50 lbs and just not care.  I’m 25 and totally out of shape and 100lbs overweight with no relief in sight.  I am addicted to eating.  I eat constantly.  I want to lose weight but just don’t know how to stop myself from binging.  I am such a failure in all areas of my life.  I suck at being a wife.  I suck at being a teacher.  I suck at losing weight.  I am lazy and anxiety filled.  I just suck!!!

Please don’t get so down on yourself. You are here. You took a step towards a healthier you by just writing this blog .
I have to lose as much as you and I know it feels so huge looking at the journey as a WHOLE. Food addiction is a hard thing to face and change but I know that you can do this!
I am a teacher of sorts. I home school and I feel like a constant failure. I also feel like a failure as a wife and mother at times as well. YOU DO NOT NOT NOT SUCK!!!!!!!!
I think anyone who chooses to take on the task of being educated and becomes a teacher is special . It takes a wonderful person to teach and mold other peoples children!
    Cheer up.
    Keep strong
We are here for you to support you

I second Joy’s comments. I think one problem that a lot of us have is the way we define ourselves. We pick the ONE part of our life that feels like the biggest failure and we allow that to define us when it is only a very small part of who we are AND it is something that is just one moment away from changing! All it takes is the right motivation at the right time in your life and you will succeed. For me, I dilly dallied around trashing my health until now…and I am 35 years old! You are way ahead of me just in that you don’t want to waste anymore time. By the time you are my age, you can have all of this behind you. Best of luck to you!!

It is so hard to read a blog like yours. Life is so worth living!!!!! Yes weight loss is a struggle but you have to do it day by day and include it in your life, not include life in weight loss!!!
May I suggest to start by changing the title of your blog to a positive title?? Start with that…positive, positive, positive. I too have close to 100lbs to lose and am right behind you!!
Congratulations on finding this blog area and USING IT! The hardest step is the first one. You will not be rewarded for letting youself fall down, you will by picking yourself up!
Good luck, find the strength, you can do this!!

I agree with Joy…you made a conscious effort today to change your life for the better. You need to look at your life in a positive light and not so much negatives. Losing weight is something about 75% of the population deals with…so you are NOT alone. Don’t look at the whole weight picture at one time. Make small goals for yourself and strive with all that is in you to reach them. Food addiction is real and we here are in the same boat.
Thanks for reaching out to us and we will try to help, encourage and support you all we can. First though, you are gonna have to love yourself…hate the fat but love that beautiful woman that is trapped within.

    Hugs and Prayers,
    Judy

I just wanted to say…well, pretty much everything I wanted to say Joy already said so I second it! I had about 80 lbs. to lose when I got started (before finding this blog site) about 6 years ago…I have to “restart” every month because every month around THAT time y’know, I blow it big time..so it’s like maybe 3 steps forward, 2 and 1/2 steps back over and over again and no matter how much I vow it won’t happen again, it happens again. So hang in there…any movement forward is progress! And like Joy said, You took the step of starting to blog here so come on! We’re all for you!!!!

Everyone’s said pretty much what I wanted to say, but you can never hear too many “hang in there”s, “you KNOW you can do it”s and “we’re here for you”s :)

So yeah - keep at it! Don’t give up hope, and don’t forget that you’re worth it!

    (3) fresh fruits (e.g. apple, orange, banana)
    (1) fat free yougurt w/fruit
    (1) protein bar
    (2) hard boiled eggs

try it see how you do
