No no no, I don’t wanna I don’t wanna, No no no I don’t wanna, no no!

This is my theme song today. It is “Tantrum” from Sandra Boynton’s Dog Train CD and it is performed by the Spin Doctors. I think you can listen to it here. It starts out slow, but gets faster so listen to the whole thing if you have time. And if you have kids, the whole CD is really good. As are her other CD’s, Philadelphia Chickens and Rhinoceros Tap. Parent friendly, kid approved.

It is cold. My weekend was insanely busy. I am hormonal. So, no no no I don’t wanna I don’t wanna (run).  Funny how just last night, I was sitting here watching videos from the Rock-n-Roll Half Marathons, getting all inspired about how cool that would be. Heh. Yeah. Apparently that mood passed. Quick and completely. Still debating whether to officially declare the onset of effit week or go run.

I still have .2 to lose of the weight that I gained back last week. Weight is a very-hard-fought-for 148. Took some preventative measures last night. Made sure hubby was packing the last of the lasagna in his lunch so it would not become my late night binge. Dumped other leftovers down the sink. Ate a kiwi and went to bed.

Breakfast was the norm. As will be lunch. Dinner was  tomato soup with chicken and gorgonzola. I had been wanting something pizza-ish, so with that I had a whole wheat tortilla with sauce and part skim ricotta with tomatoes and mushrooms and a pile of fresh basil on top. Ended up having seconds on the soup instead of my planned pumpkin/yogurt. Calories were 1,318.

Hmm.. that’s my mantra when my alarm goes off at 4:10 each morning signaling it’s time to go to the gym. I spout that in my head for a good 30 minutes or so before I finally decide to get up out of bed b/c that is really the hardest part — getting up.

tomato soup with chicken & gorgonzola? yummy, yummy, yumsters.

every time i read the word gorgonzola, i think of my favorite childhood book: cloudy with a chance of meatballs.

what do you think it means that my all-time favorite book is about a town where it rains/snows/hails food? LOL.

Take it from me, go for the run. I had an eff-it week last week and I gained 12 pounds.

LOL I clicked on the link to hear that song, which led me to click on another link to hear another song, which led me to… spend a half hour listening to children’s music!

You always have the coolest links! That song will be stuck in my head everytime the alarm goes off. Surprised the librarian didn’t shush me! Anyways, go for the run, even if it’s a small one - You’ll feel better afterwards. :)
