Habits, Old and New
I didn’t even try to track food intake this weekend. I hope that means I’m now at a point where I have an internal moderator who’s basically taking care of this on an ongoing and unconscious way…. My sense (Monday morning quarterbacking) is that I ate very “normally.”
So do I stop tracking here altogether?
I feel nervous about doing that. Why? Control? Simple recognition that this has been working, so why fix what ain’t broke?
Sooooo……. Maybe I keep track during the week and intentionally NOT track (overtly) during the weekends right now.
Moving:
Walked to and from work: 45 mins x 2
I’m not going to record Wii Fit time here because I’m not sure yet whether to rely on this for “moving.” I’ve definitely dropped my morning mini-workouts as I try to find time to do Wii Fit, and the Wii Fit stuff takes more time even though I probably move less. But I am enjoying the playfulness of the Wii Fit activities, which matters. Will keep an eye on this for now…..

B (7 AM): coffee w/soy milk; all-bran flakes with half a banana (sliced)
SN plans: hardboiled egg and a peach — HA! No snack.
L plan: Indian buffet w/DS — Nope. We went for Middle Eastern. I had half a fatoosh salad and some hot tea.
S plan: grilled corn/asparagus salad (throw in some roasted almond slivers) — Sigh. Nope, this didn’t work out as planned, either. Went to D’s with BF and BF’s DSis and had a hot dog, beer, and onion rings. Went on home and consoled my uber-menstrual self with chocolate-brownie-chunk ice cream.
