Hump Day

Forgot to pack a lunch today. Rats. Might go to lunch with the BF, depending on when he gets through with his meetings, so will think about something healthy to order if we do that or something healthy to pick up if I end up eating at my desk…..

Decided I need to stop just titling these entries with the day of the week….

Isn’t that marvelous? A real call to appreciate the gift of taste, such a valued sense that it can be associated with an appreciation of God’s goodness!

New Week

Goal for this week is to try to start removing pounds again. Steady is not bad, and I know I have to be patient as my body adjusts, but am ready for some change in the scale.

The Weekend

Saturday
Definitely not feeling motivated these days. I’ve somehow lost my spark.
Sigh.
B: English muffin w/scrambled egg and cottage cheese, lofat swiss melted on it, Trader Joe salsa on that. A breakfast sandwich. Yum. Coffee w/soy milk. Orange juice.
Sn: raisin/walnut bread toast

TGIF

Put myself on the home scale this morning. That thing does not budge. Two weeks and the pointer is in the same place.  
AM moving: bicep curls

AM moving: lower body work: 25 squats, 25 toe raises w/weights, 25 toe raises with bent knees. Have to say I did NOT want to do it this morning. Just am feeling tired and a little weepy. But I did it and am glad for it.

AM Moving:  Lt weights, upper body (hammer curls, tricep rows). Walked in to work (45 mins).
B (6:30 AM): coffee w/soy milk; English muffin with peanut butter and banana slices.
L (11:45 AM): half of hummus/veggie wrap. Water.
Sn (2 PM): 3 Hershey’s kisses. (3 PM): coffee w/half-and-half

Tuesday: Midpoint Weigh-In
