Start Your Diet Today!

But I don’t wanna go!!!

Today is a bad day, ladies. I have a dentist appointment this afternoon. Do you know how long it’s been since I’ve been to the dentist? I hate the dentist (which is why it’s been so long since I’ve gone). The last time I went, they told me I had holes in the enamal of my teeth (from soda, I’m sure) and they would have to fill them. I didn’t go back. That was 12 years ago!! AGUHHH!!! I’m sure I’ll hear the same thing today PLUS that I need to get my wisdom teeth pulled. Oh I am not looking forward to this. My son has his first ever dentist appointment today as well at the same time (convenient). We’ll see how that goes.

Went to the gym this morning. Did 15 minutes on the bike and then my training session. We did legs. Now I’m at work eating my oat bran and blueberries. I did well on my calories yesterday. Total of 1374 for the day.

It’s probably a good thing I have a dentist appt. It’s my friend’s birthday today and I made her a cake last night (what a FIASCO!!!) Since I am leaving work at 11, I won’t have to go out to lunch with the group, nor partake in the cake.

Arg. I hate going to the dentist too. You will feel so much better when it is over with. I tend to freak out with that stuff hanging over my head. Always so much better when it is over with for a while. I hope the news isn’t too bad for you. I have had about 5 fillings done and my wisdom teeth taken out and sometimes I still feel like the WORST PART is the cleaning. Scrape, scrape, scrape.

Sounds like you had a good workout!

Ahhh, another dental phobic like me. I didn’t go to the dentist for 20 years! Thank goodness I had no cavities (I’ve never had one) but they did say I needed to work on my gum health. I haven’t been back since, even though I should.
Way to look at the bright side on missing the lunch and cake though. See, dentists are good for SOMETHING. ;)

See, there are good things about going to the dentist. Now you don’t have to face the temptation of the b-day party. Hope it goes well and that your son has a good experience.

Okay, I don’t check in for like 5 minutes (okay, a week) & look at how much happens to you! The house, the great run, the trip, the crazy workout schedule, & now the dentist.

Congrats on all of it…especially the house, which is lovely. Will the palm grow big & tall or stay cute and small?

    :)

Hello little dentalphobic! How’d ya make out? I’ve alway loved going to the dentist. Yes, I know, I’m an oddball! But there’s a good reason!
I’ve always had this horrible fear of having to get all of my teeth pulled out. I’ve even had nightmares that they were falling out in clumps in my mouth and I was trying to poke them back into the holes. Gee, now doesn’t that say a lot about my mental stability! Hmmm I should call and get my teeth cleaned…..
