This week is a total bust
Oh yes, the whole week. After the two packages of double stuff oreos I ate over the course of the weekend, I am calling it a bust. I haven’t been to the gym, my eating plan hasn’t been great (well, the PLAN was good but the execution of the plan has not been), and frankly, I really don’t care this week because I know that no matter what I would have done, it would all be for naught come Friday night when I will consume my weight in alcohol (well, not THAT much, but enough to derail all efforts)
Oh yeah… I’m talking 7 HOURS of my guys up in New York. And the best part is they don’t know that I’m coming!! They know I’m coming up in October for Halloween, but we have kept this trip a secret from them. My friend and I can’t wait to see the looks on their faces when I walk in.
I did try to go for a run last night. Remember, I ran a 5k on Saturday. I went to run last night (outside in the fresh air - NOT on the treadmill in the gym) and after 10 steps I was in pain. WTF!! I kept going though. Stopped to get a drink at the water fountain, then kept on running to the turn around point and then may a quarter of the way back. That was as far as I could go. I walked the rest of the way. I was planning on going around again, but decided against it. I had a side cramp and was just over it. I think I was dehydrated b/c I didn’t do well on my water yesterday. That’s what I like about the gym. I always have a bottle of water with me so I can rehydrate myself. Oh well.

The whole thirst thing gets to me too. My 5k training thing says to get that fanny pack thing to carry water with us, but I am not wild about hauling water. May have to as we increase distance though.
Yeah for you getting to go back up and see the band you like! Hope you have a great time!
The turkey ragu and the gnocchi, I am not sure. I always have to cook one and a half times that recipe since we have a family of six. So I probably end up putting in twice the gnocchi because you can’t really repackage it and store the rest, I don’t think. I don’t know how far it goes that way. I measure mine, but hubby does not.

Love the pics! Yeah, I’m thinking I need to stay around 1200 calories. It seems like I was losing a lot better when I was.
