I have never been so happy to be home

Not that I thought this week would be a good time seeing as I was headed to a funeral, but I didn’t think there would be as much drama. I am looking forward to going back to work tomorrow just for some mundaneness (not a word - I know) Let me say ahead of time that there is ALWAYS drama with my husband’s family. This week was worse. I’m not going to go into morbid details, but lets just say we went for a funeral, almost witnessed a divorce, and so much other craziness.

I am glad to be back. I am ready to get back to exercising and eating correctly. There was obviously none of that this week. Although I did run one day. Well, I walked more than ran.. too many hills!!!

Hubby is coming home of Friday so I have the kids to myself the next 2 days. I’m not sure if I’ll get to the gym or not. They only have kids club until 7 and I will be having to do triple duty at work over the next two days because I have next Monday and Tuesday off as well.

Drama. Ick. I do not handle drama well at all. I can imagine how happy you are to be back and get back into a familiar routine!

Holy smokes ya shaved a lot of time off of your 5k! Speedy chick!

Drama tires me out! Soap opera people, that’s how I label them.

Well kiddo, looks like we’re both more than ready to get back to our normal healthy peaceful routines!

I think some families just seem to run on conflict. Doesn’t work for me, but I’ve seen it in others.

Glad you were able to fit a run in.
