So this is me in case you were wondering. In case I was wondering, I guess. This blogging stuff is pretty interesting. Nobody reads ‘em but whoever writes ‘em, evidently, and that’s kind of neat in a way. You could pretty much reveal all your deepest, darkest secrets and nobody would be the wiser. Maybe I’ll just do that. Hey! I took quite a long bike ride today! AND I stayed well within my allowable calorie range. Hopefully, I’m losing some weight, here. If I weren’t such a wuss, I’d go ahead and weigh myself, but I’m waiting until next weekend…trying to work my way up to stepping on the scale. Last time I looked, I’d lost 22 pounds. That was BEFORE my son came home from L.A. for a visit. While he was here, I’m afraid I ate WAY off the charts. Well, Not that far off, and I kept up my daily bike rides, but I did go off-plan, and that’s the truth. Jumped right back on the wagon, though, and plan to stay on it until I take off the second (and last) 22 pounds, and even then, I’ll continue to eat healthy, high fiber and lower calorie foods than I used to eat. I can’t afford to gain any weight back this time around. I’m too danged old. When I die, I want to be cremated, and I want my ashes to be put in one of those old cast iron Mister Peanut banks. I don’t know why. It just strikes me as the thing to do.
