I’ve been neglecting my notes here… My weight climbed up a bit and now is back at 253 this morning. I ate toomuch on Sunday and think I may have picked up a flubug or food poisening… Both hubby and I felt pretty rotten on Monday.
I did week 3 day 1 of the couch to 5K program yesterday and this morning planned to go tot he gym but we took the car in for a checkup instead. We had about an hour to waste so we went for a walk. We figure we coved at least two miles. I’ll call that my workout for today. I’ll do week 3 day 2 ont he couch to 5K tomorrow morning before work.
I also need to start getting some pictures done so that I can watch my progress. I also need to hunt down my tape measure and start getting some measurements tracked as well. That way I will know if I am staying on track or if I am really hitting plateaus.
I also just found out this morning that a friend of the family passed away overnight. She has always been large and I don’t think she took good care of herself. She was in her early 60s or late 50s (not quite sure). It is another reminder that I need to do this for myself. I want to be around for many years to come! I wantto grow old with the hubby (and he keeps saying the same - he encourages me to stay healthy so we can grow old together). I want that!!
I have also started keeping a journal of what I plan to eat and what exercise I plan to do each day and at the end of the day I will see if I kept to the plan. I think that having another way to keep myself accountable will be good.
I suppose I should start getting some real work done here…
