I tried the FitDay food tracker to get an idea of just how much is going in. It’s better than it used to be in that it’s more variety. But it’s still a lot! But the FitDay thing didn’t work very well for me. Frankly most of the stuff I eat isn’t there. So I will just do it here and use that as a loose calorie counter/nutrition breakdown.
Today:
Pork chop in shake n bake leftover from last night.

This was not a great day. I made the mistake of not planning regular meals/snacks got over hungry and pigged out.

Got up at 9, ate around 10:30:
Pork chop in shake n bake
Min kit kat (2 bars)
4pm salad: spinach, cucumber, bacon pieces, chick peas, corn, peas, shredded cheese, caesar dressing. About 2 cups total.
6:15 Starting on a liter of cold water. My head hurts.
Finished the liter of water.
3/4 of a half of a steak bomb, loaded no mushrooms.
4 loaded potato skins with sour cream.
1 1/2 c vanilla ice cream with Reese’s shell.
noonish - Pork chop in shake n bake - I think I’m glad they’re gone!!
3 eggs scrambled in a bit of butter and olive oil with some shredded cheese and bacon pieces.

Went to Red Robin for supper. Had a chicken burger with no bun and maybe 8 - 10 fries with ketchup. Ice water with lemon. And 2 good sized sips of hubby’s raspberry milkshake.
Went to the fair. Had a good sized bite of the boy’s dough boy and 3 good sized bite of hubby’s blooming onion.
Water.
Going to have some vanilla ice cream with peanut butter.

So I was almost afraid to eat b/c I didn’t want to do it wrong. But I was hungry!
So I scrambled 2 eggs in a bit of olive oil and added 2 strips of precooked bacon and a sprinkle of shredded cheese.
Then I popped a 1 serving bag of micro popcorn.
That was a linked meal and I am full. Whew!
I made a chicken curry tonight with brown rice. I used a 1/2 cup measuring cup so that I didn’t overdo on the rice. Had some baby carrots with butter. Water.
I felt pretty good about it and planned my linked dessert..Edy’s no sugar added coffee ice cream with almonds sprinkled on top.
But I wasn’t really hungry for my dessert but I ate it b/c I looked forward to it all day and I was so good to lead up to it, but now my tummy aches Time for bed.
Weird not hungry morning.
Ate a handful of grapes and a handful of almonds.
Tried a multigrain hot cereal with strawberries - yuck!
Ate a cheese stick to counter the few bites.
Sipping water at work and ate an apple and a few more almonds.
Will be exercising soon then having a Lean Cuisine.
Had the Lean Cuisine - it had 36 grams of net carbs and 20 of protein so to cut out some of the carbs I ate almost none of the noodles (I’m sure there was still a fair amount of carbs in the sauce).
I’ve had 32oz of water so far today - woohoo.
Had 3 or 4 pieces of broccoli and cauliflower with hummus.
Having a glass of skim milk now and then going to have my 1/2 cup of coffee nsa ice cream (Splenda). Been doing some interesting reading about sugar alcohols and all that. Hopefully my blood sugar won’t react to them.
Had the ice cream.
Made supper - sweet and sour pork (I need to find a way to do it with less carbs in the sauce) over less than 1/2 cup brown rice. Besides pork and sauce it had pea pods, green onions, mushrooms, bell pepper, pineapple.
But then I was still hungry so had more of the ss pork without rice.
Finished the water.
I forgot yesterday that I munched lots of grapes throughout the day. They are in a bowl in the fridge and when I’d open the door to get something I’d grab 3 or 4.
Same thing this am. I am eating a high fiber wrap with ham, swiss, spinach and mustard for bfast.
So, reading the IR Diet and got bummed - I thought grapes and apples were “free” foods. No, it’s GRAPEFRUIT and apples So I haven’t been linking grapes. But I will from now on. And I’m not holding it against myself b/c I thought I was doing the right thing.
Had grapes for a snack this am and drank more than 1/3 of today’s water.
Heating up a lean cuisine now which has less than 18 grams of carbs and 14 grams of protein so it’s all linked. I should have had the grapes with the LC and ate the apple earlier. Oh well. Learning!

Tummy started to feel yucky so drank a small glass of skim milk.
Ate a stick of cheese and then 1/2 to 3/4 cup of Edy’s NSA coffee ice cream.
Finished my water.
24 oz of water so far.
Made one of my wrap sandwiches this am but wasn’t really hungry enough for it..ate about half.
Apple mid morning.
Came home and ate a couple of grapes. Then had a pork chop and a single serving bag of popcorn.
Going to make chili out of the IR Diet cookbook for supper.
Chili was good! With a little shredded cheese.
Finished the water.
Had a string cheese and a serving of NSA ice cream.
Had a high fiber wrap with RF swiss cheese, spinach and 1/4 cup egg substitute scrambled in about 1 tsp butter. yummy.

Came home and drank 16 oz of water with lemon, ate chicken sauteed in olive oil with yogurt and satay powder over spaghetti squash
then knowing it was a wash and tomorrow would be back on plan, I ate approx 2 cups of vanilla bean ice cream with approx 1/2 cup melted pb
For Sept 8th:
Was not hungry in am. Made a wrap and ate it at work.
Drank a lot of water during the day.
Another wrap and some grapes for lunch.
Came home and was randomly snacking on grapes then remembered what I was doing and had a few bites of chicken to link.
Made mashed cauliflower, brussel sprouts, and chicken in mustard tarragon sauce for supper.
Was feeling grumpy and out of control. Immediately followed supper with 2 (+?) servings of NSA ice cream. Might have been on plan as I don’t think there were many carbs in supper, but was definitely an “out of control” eating action and I considered it off plan.
Wrap with 2 pieces fit and trim ham and 1 1/2 pieces alpine lace swiss, spinach and mustard.
