Fighting the Dark Cloud of pudge!!

Greetings all.  Sorry I have been negligent in my posting.  Just been really busy, that is all.  We did get our condo rental for June 1 so I have that to deal with.  My “brothers” are still feuding and the restraining order is still on so only one is coming to the wedding.  All the wedding invites are now in the mail (ok some are a tad late - is 6 weeks to reply too little time?!) and I am even getting gifts.  My sister is not attending (which should save on the bar bill!) and has informed me that her divorce went through in Jan and she is engaged to someone new.  They are looking at a European destination wedding.  I recommended Edinburgh.  (go if you have never been- a great city!).

School is limping along - both what I teach and what I am taking.  Count down to the end is starting.  Meanwhile, I have started to book Mary Kay classes - starting Friday June 13.  Could there be a better time?  My goal is to get 100 new clients.  I am guessing it will take 6 months.  It is a lot of fun so I am looking forward to it.

Had another fitting for my dress.  It is looking really sweet.  I like it.

The project Manager at Home Depot who is overseeing my bathroom installation had a nervous breakdown and my order was lost.  Instead of appeasing us by putting it forward, they put us at the back of the line so the measuring for my countertop is not until May 21.  All had been guaranteed finished before Mom’s party on Sat night so I sent a nasty letter to the President of Home Depot citing a violation of the Consumer Protection Act and breach of contract.  I am waiting to see what comes of that.  So far, nothing.

We did find a dress for the Maid of honour yesterday.  I had hoped for a darker purple but as we weren’t finding anything I opted for Mauve.  It was on sale - a prom dress actually.  She has to get it cut shorter.  Her surgery is tomorrow so I took the day off as moral support.

So, you can see time is slipping away from me. Sadly waitte is not!

But I am still living the dream!
