And another thing…
Have you ever thought about how much in your life you could do if you did not spend so much time on the concept of dieting? Thinking about it. Doing it. Talking about it. Blogging about it?
Women are amazing mulittaskers….we accomplish great things. You would think that the very idea of wasting so much time on something like dieting would go against everything we believe in. Perhaps this is why there is not world peace?!! We are too busy trying to lose weight to take over the world’s governments!
If people came to us and complained about any other thing as much as we do about dieting, we would tell them to get a grip on the situation and move on. “Don’t let it take over your life like that!” Wouldn’t we?? I know I would. How did weight get to be a category of its own in our lives; with its own rules and agenda?
 Something to think about!

So very true. I know I am guilty of always complaining about my weight, dieting for six months and then falling back into my own self loathing and old habits. I am looking at this latest venture as changing my life not a diet. I know it will help.
And it’s good to know I ma not alone.

I think it’s such a big issue for many women because we aren’t living our lives consciously. We go through our days on automatic mode and when it comes to eating we are also on automatic mode, not really thinking about what we put into our mouths. That’s why I personally have to make myself accountable and go through the process of logging each morsel of food I eat. It’s a very important tool in my weight loss. If I don’t write it down I would lose track or possbly not even realize what I had eaten the whole day and would have eventually over ate and that’s how I got to this way in the first place. I know what you’re saying though. If we become too obsessive about the whole thing we miss out on a lot of pleasure in life. We need to strike a balance.
