My love/hate relationship with the scale
I hate weighing myself weekly. Yet, I have to because for some reason that is the only barometer I use to chart my success. When I lose weight I LOVE the scale. When I stay the same weight I feel indifferent, but when I gain….watch out! I pout, shed a few tears and curl up in a ball never wanting to step on the scale again. The scale never lies…so I have been told. I need to recognize my successes in other ways besides weighing myself. Easier said than done.
