Scales are moving. Slowly but I’m happy it’s moving again.
I did my jog/walk this morning. This program has me for this week doing the following
walk 5 mins
run 30 seconds
walk 2 mins
repeat 8 times
walk 5 minutes
I did this which took me a little more than one lap around the park then I walked the rest. For a total of 43 minutes for 2 laps. That is an average of 21 1/2 mins per lap which is awesome! My thighs hurt but they were sore last night too.. I’m not sure why. So, I will do this for one week and move up to the next level. It really bugs me that even running 30 second intervals seems like so much for me. With all the walking and working out I’ve done at the gym I feel like I should be able to run more.
Eating was great yesterday but today will be more difficult because I haven’t been to the grocery store. DS had baseball practice from 6:30 - 9 last night but today he just has his one on one with the catchers coach we hired.
Middle DD ran but I noticed that when her one friend shows up to run, she doesn’t run much. They walk alot and take shortcuts. She told me that this girl isn’t really into running that much. I don’t know why she goes then. but, I finally told DD that she needs to do what she is there for or I’m going to stop going out of my way to get up at 7am on those days so she can go walk and take short cuts. She was not happy but she started running lol
Oldest DD is actually home today. I’ve been assigning chores in the morning because the house was getting crazy messy. She wont like that! But, it’s helping. she prob wont be happy when she finds out she wont be staying the night anywhere for the next few days either. I don’t think she needs to stay somewhere every night especially when it’s hard for me check up on where she is.
I’m off for vacation next week. I want to plan a trip to the Lake and to Humpback Rock on the park way. Those will be some cool activities for us. I haven’t found a job yet… have to go to PA for a week right after my vacation week ![]()
