Yesterday was good but crazy busy! I had a lot to do for work that required me to work a little over and then do several things after clocking out

DS had a baseball game, another Mom called at the last minute to let me know she couldn’t work the concession stand. We have a rule that the Home team of each game has to provide a parent to work the concession stand. I took over this duty (of getting volunteers) a few weeks ago because the way they were doing it wasn’t working. So, she had a family emergency and couldn’t make it. Mind you she was scheduled to buy drinks last week and didn’t remember so I had someone for this game cover her so she could pay this game. So……. we were out a concession worker AND a drink payer. I worked the first part of the game and another Mom worked the second part and paid for the drinks. I had to leave early so I could get home by 8:30 for our Directors Conference Call.

They played a good game and won. Our friends showed up to watch DS play. It was kind of cool although I didn’t have much time to sit and talk. BIL and nephew came too

Ran home, did our conference call and finally ate dinner.

Woke up this morning to a phonecall from the High School telling us to come pick up oldest DD.. no info. I was imagining all these horrible things she could have done to deserve a call telling us to pick her up w/ no details. Turned out it wasn’t horrible. Her and two girls left school ground to walk to the store but were back before the bell rang. So.. they broke the rules by leaving but I give them props for actually coming back lol! I prob woulnd’t have come back at that age. So, she is suspended and now cleaning house.

We had breakfast at Shoney’s. I did pretty good. Scrambled eggs, mushrooms, 2 slices of bacon and a little bit of grits. I’m watching my carbs with my calories but my fat is pretty high today. Scale said 166.8 this morning but I’m sure that will bounce around some in the next few days depending on my fluids. I never believe it until I don’t go higher than it again!

OK, off to work. DH is sanding the trim in our living room back to the wood. We have an older house and the trim is so pretty. I can’t wait to see it stained and polyed! We think he has a job at a great restaurant in the next town over with management possibilities! woohoo!

bought Dancing off the inches (hip hop party today) for my rainy day workouts.
