ok.. so…

Well, I finally made the decision yesterday and walked. I was afraid if I drove to the park I would not get much walking done. I knew I would know so many people at the ballgame (plus DH and DS were there) So.. I walked to the park! This way if I didn’t walk while I was there I had walking in. It took me 40 mins roughly with plenty of hills etc along the way. After getting there and dripping sweat (it was freaking hot!) I took my friend Lisa’s daughters to the duck pond and back. Almost another mile of walking. I’ll clock the drive to the park next time to see how far I walked total. My hips hurt today but I made sure I did it and couldn’t back out.

 Woke up to a nice surprise 168.8 this morning! woohoo! I hit 168 back on the 14th but then right back up to 170 after that. I assume it is fluids that do this yo-yo thing to me but I’m back to 168 and proudly sporting my size 10 stretch jeans today! No huge muffin top just a little one so I’m happy. I have to walk early today. We have a ballgame at 7 and I have a conference call at 8:30 so I’ll have to leave the game early for the conference call.

 I overslept this morning again! I guess this is how you can tell Summer is coming. I woke up at 6 to get my oldest DD up and at 6:30 for my youngest DD but then I was dead to the world. 7 came and went so DS was a few minutes tardy for school. I cooked breakfast for DH and I. Bacon and eggs :-)

I’m ready to get serious again. Luckily I had no weight gain when I was slacking off but I guess that’s because I didn’t completely go off plan. There is a possibility for a Girls Only Birthday Trip to Key West in late June. My boss called last night to tell me about it. Unfortunately I am not financially ready for a trip like that. However, if it comes as a perk of my job that would be an entirely different thing! I cannot wait to go to Key West in Oct but the chance to go in June is almost too hard to resist!

So, I’ve got to kick butt on this diet because I wanted to be at my goal weight on my next trip down. The closer trip only puts me about 4 weeks out. I know I can do 2 lbs a week if I am really good. That would be 8 more pounds. Not to goal but pretty darn close!

DH is going to see about a job today and hopefully starting a roof job on the side. We need to get the cash flowing again. I know we wont really feel it until the 7th of June when he would have normally gotten paid again but I start worrying early. I am also thinking of looking into a part time waitressing job at nights…. Stupid money!

Ok, I have to work in less than an hour and I never did dinner dishes last night. So.. I’m going to get off my lazy butt and get moving!
