approaching week two

Wednesday will be my 2 week anniversary of counting calories, watching my fat and sugar intake and getting more excercise! It’s hard for me to believe that it’s been 2 weeks. It doesn’t sound like much but it sure doesn’t feel like 2 weeks…

Not so many cravings today. Probably because i was back to work. I had a fabulous low-carb wrap for lunch with no extra stuff for hidden calories :-)

But, when I typed it all into fitday tonight, my daily calories were really low. Lower than I think they should be even though I thought I was doing really well.

I only had a banana for breakfast and two cups of really strong coffee at work ::cringe::

for lunch I had a chicken wrap w/ a low carb wrap. The ladies at the deli beside my office have been trying to get me to try one for a while. It was super! Chicken, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, green olives and what tasted like either sour cream or cream cheese. It was fabulous and full of taste.

1/2 grapefruit

Dinner, baked chicken, green beans, broccoli, a few bites of boiled potato and 1/2 slice of toasted whole wheat bread.

According to fitday I barely hit 1000 calories. I don’t want to do this for nothing and not loose because I went to low. I feel like I should find a way to add more calories but am afraid of how to do that healthy…

Kids are all in bed and it’s really chilli here tonight!

Oh, and hubby walked with me for a whole hour after work! I felt bad for him because he does a lot of walking. It was nice. We got to see a good bit of this town we’ve lived in for 6 months! We walked down dead end streets, looked at the houses and up some pretty crazy steep hills!

Now I’m tired :-)

  1. You need to get at least 1200 calories a day to keep your metabolism burning those pounds. May I suggest you eat a good breakfast, a fair lunch and light supper because your body needs the calories during the day and you are scrimping on the main meal. You don’t many calories at night so what you eat at night turns to fat (unless you are eating early and doing your walking at night). Like I try to tell everyone it is not WHAT you eat but WHEN you eat it that matters most. Turn your calories around and let them start helping you during the day. Your body needs the fuel.
Best of luck on your diet journey and keep up the walking!!!
