I’ve never written down or kept track of my food before. Prior to this weight loss journey I drank all of my calories! I drank Dr. Pepper and Sweet Tea and ate little. Who needs food when you have all those calories already? I was rarely hungry.
Since putting a stop to the empty calories from soda I find myself hungry most of the time. I have started eating more often throughout the day. But, trying to keep an eye on what I’m eating. I hate to say it - but I don’t have much of a plan here. Never really “dieted” before unless you count a brief stint on adkins years ago.
My main goal was to cut out the soda. Thinking the rest would take care of itself. Not so easy.
Today:
Breakfast - cheerios, 2% milk
Lunch - salad w/ chicken at McDonalds after grocery shopping w/ reduced fat dressing.
Dinner - Hamburger (no bun), steamed broccoli, steamed green beans and a salad w/ reduced fat dressing and a couple slices of a fresh pear.
I also had 1 1/2 bananas today for snacks
I don’t remember eating anything else. At work I tend to have more in between snacks.
Other than shopping and cleaning the only excercise I did was about 10 mins…

Hey, it sounds like a plan to me.
One of my biggest challenges is to cut out the Diet Pepsi I had every day, so I can empathize on that one. In fact, I’m cutting out all carbonated drinks or anything with aspartame. I think I already feel better for it, but perhaps that’s just wishful thinking. Good luck..I’ll be checking on your progress, too!
